So, in Media Player Classic and Windows Media Player I can’t get audio when playing a video in AVI or MP4. It’s very annoying and if someone can give me a guide to fix this problem it would be of great value.

I figured it out after what seems like 5 hours. Seems it was just the Media Control driver that for some unknown reason decided to go away. Well, everything is back to norm now.
