After i formatted my disk C: i installed all windows updates and installed the latest K-Lite codec Pack, but what ever type of video format i play with any player there is , i get a much darker screen then normal.....its like a dark shade... I dont get this when i play video in my internet browser on sites like youtube .....

anyone familiar withthis problem or no what to do ?

Ok, Stupid......After reinstalling my video drivers, settings in the control pannel were messed up , contrast en brightness were set to 0%.
