Need some halo 2 tips

I’m spending the week up at a buddy in Massachusetts’s house and he plays halo 2 on xbox. i am used to pc fps so i need to get better fast, getting used to aiming with a controller will just take practice, but if i could get some info about good combos, or map tips, i would appreciate it.
