HighSoci Guest | I downloaded a movie that when trying to start and view it with Real player, it will just close out. I open it and play it with quicktime and it has the video perfectly, but with no sound. I downloaded and ran the video toolbox on it and it says it is a completed file and has proper codecs installed to play it. Is there something that I am missing or is it just really not a complete file or maybe just corrupted? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

HighSoci Guest | Ok, while messing around more with the file, I found it to close out immediately when trying to view it with Media Player 9, DivX, and a couple other players. It does however work perfectly with sound and video on Windows Classic Player. Anyone know what is up with this?

Butters Guest | I use BSPlayer to play all my avi film titles it’s free and by far the best player out IMO for thoes type of files.
as for your original question I cant answer I’m affraid but give BSP a go and see if that sorts out your problem.
BTW have you tried G-Spot??

HighSoci Guest | Thanks for your response. Yes, I have tried GSPOT and it too said the file was ok and had all the correct CODECS installed. I will give BSPlayer a go. I am always up for new players that will play my .avi files without having to switch back and forth between different ones. Once again thanks for taking the time to reply.
