Teh FF FTW!

But Ghost in the Shell movie was actually pretty cool, but it really looked like suped up drawing with computer animation.



See what i mean? Brilliant mix of art, computer images, CGI, etc all blended together.

Dude FF got an award for some of the best CGI animations ever made.

FF was full 3-D.

And it looked insane, one scene had millions of poly on screen at once.

Not to mention Appleseed and GITS were made with standard computers.

But FF: Advent Children had to use a super computer to create the insane detail and distance.

I’ve seen Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, and Advent Children. I have to say that the CG in AC looked better, it was more realistic.

Dude Appleseed and GITS2 both rechived awards not to mention Sky Blue the detail in all of them is unreal Appleseed exspechialy it was based ovr the work of Shirrow Masumune who was renown for his attention to detail, both Ghost and the Shell and Appleseed used super Computers to help create there images with Photo Realism on backrounds allowing for 3DCG all the way around an Object.

Basicaly they took a flying dump on AC due to the fact CG is American based and both were produced there to Sell better, AC got awards for certain Techs used but never claimed to have the best CG used hell Final Fantasy for the PS3 is fast gaining.

ive seen it and the makeing of thats how i know, watch the makeing of all of them Appleseed GIT2 and Sky Blue used better CG.

AC ruled tho for what they had to work with but they spent to mutch time on it so some of the shabby CG got mixed with the new.
