I recently bought a Lenovo 3000 C200 and in using the DVD burning program Roxio Sonic Media that came with I find that each time i copy then burn a DVD the exact amount of Gb that was copied and burnt dissapears from my availiable hard drive space can anybody help please.
The DVD that I am copying copies are not copyright protected.

The Dog-Mod! Rep: 56  Joined: 28 Dec 2006 Posts: 18,961 | Thats because it is copying the files to your hard drive before burning the files to disc. If you set the product to erase temp files after burning, you wont have this problem.

Thanks for the info but the product is set to do that. I found the files stored as “Sonic Global Image Files” ending with with .gi hiding windows and upon deleteing them got back my original space.
I contacted IBM as the program was supplied with the computer and they were as much help as a blind man in a paint colour matching shop.
I hung up feeling that I knew more about the Lenovo 3000 than they did.

Yeah, IBM can be like that. They love to sell you the bloody thing but they wont help you much if you have a problem
