I watched that movie with high hopes, everyone everywhere was saying that that was the funniest movie they had ever seen. But thats uttter bull shit. During the entire Borat movie, I only laughed like 2 or 3 times, but whats even worse is that those bastards offend almost every different person from a different group.

“The country of assholes”
“If you see a muslim, then youd wonder what kinda bomb is strapped to him”

and much more! (thats all the raicts moments that came 2 my head)

dont see borat, it sucks and youll get offended. seriously, how can you like a movie where two gay fags are wrestling each other naked for about half an hour?!?!

I’m sorry my Freedom of Speech is being hindered by people who never experienced the true racism of the past and try to say they deserve respect for it. I’m in no, way, shape or form racist. I take humor in mockeries such as Borat because of how ridiculous it is. There are other problems here, however, besides what he said.




Yes, I like Borat because its totally ridiculous. And I can’t begin to imagine the shit that black people had to go through during slavery and the civil rights, the shit the Jews went through during the Halocaust and still go through, the shit Islamics deal with, the shit Irish people (which I am Irish) had gone through, Chinese, Japanese, etc. But people need to quit being so damn racially barriered. A black man makes a racist joke, and everyone laughs. A white man does it and no one laughs. Black people use the “N” word, but get pissed when a white person says it. Racism is still too apparent.


We should flaunt jokes and quit being pussies. If action is actually taken on you for being of a certain race, that’s different.

But joking is something else. I can understand people being pissed by being in a deceitful film, but otherwise you are just too insecure and/or proud of yourself.

Well, the thing about Borat is that while its funny, it has you laughing for all the wrong reasons... I agree that quite a few of the jokes were pretty damned unnecessary, but nonetheless it was damn funny.

The point of the movie is to show that American culture is so far up there asses as well as the English in the UK. The movie was about the USA and the tv show was about the UK.

that is exactly why it is funny... it makes fun of everyone... not just a specific group, but ALL PEOPLE... very rarely can movies or shows do this so effectively and Borat pulled it off very well... i like to think of it as a hatist movie... it jokes around with all the quirks of a mixed society like the U.S...

oh and the Ali G show is hilarous... does anyone know how he gets those people on his show...?
