I say either Sam Fisher, the Half-Life 2 characters, or Halo 2.

The graphics in Final Fantasy 12 were superb, I think it had some of the best looking faces I’ve ever seen.

I say that looks awesome.

Oh and that’s not CGI, it’s actually an in game cutscene that runs in real time. The CGI looks a lot better.

running in real time he said, not to mention you only said “character models”, you never said they couldn’t be from the cinema.

But I thought Halo 2’s faces were HORRIFIC

PC-Half Life 2 for the win. Superb detail in movement.

Console-Dunno...FFXII did have great real-time cutscenes, but they were enhanced. Of course, that’s all that matters with facial detail, since that’s where you’ll actually be seeing it. I’d have to say Zelda: TP, though, had some great facial work, very cartoony and it was really nice, especially for Midna.

Halo 2 though, that equaled butt in facial terms. How could you even call that good? Not only were the normal maps iffy, the animation wasn’t great at all. Added to that, the draw distance blew, so, when walking up to a talking character, it was blurred a lot, until you were up close.

placet? the faces have so much emotion in them though, so many polygons and really good animation that surpases halo 2, just becuase they don’t have ezadurated wrinkles like gow don’t mean its not the best looking(gow faces are unrealistic cus their faces are way to wrinkled)

Being old-ish and living in a harsh enviorment tends to do that to ya...

And the KH2 faces had jaggies, and they always opened their mouth and closed their mouth the exact same way, the only emotion is during the cinemas, which are cool at times, they are still cinemas.
