My partener has just taken 20 of the large ibruprofen tablets. I’ve ordered him to hospital but need to know how much damage these tablets can do. Is there anyone who can help me?

Between 65 and 75 per cent of adults do not develop any symptoms after overdosing on ibuprofen. The majority of the few patients who develop symptoms show mild, self-limiting reactions. Ibuprofen was made to help prevent death by overdosing, however it’s still safe to take him to the hospital and get him checked out.

strawberry - I am so sorry to hear of that. I found this for you:

Overdose: Symptoms of a ibuprofen overdose include nausea, vomiting or stomach pain, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, ringing in the ears, blurred vision, seizures, sweating, numbness or tingling, little or no urine production, and slow breathing.

Best thing to do is get him to emergency as soon as possible.

Ouch, I almost had to pay the the hospital a visit once for taking too many lortab, hydrocodone and ecstasy pills on a Spring Break week in San Felipe Mexico. It was a horrible feeling. Sh*t I don’t think I’ve been the same since. Haha
I feel for the guy, take him in to get checked out.
