no, but it can let a virus into your system. When you see an image on your browser, it saves a temporary copy to your hard drive for faster loading in the future. When the image is being downloaded, a virus can sneak into that stream. Why do you think that so many emails block images in emails in the spam folder? ---

Savage Snake NLI Guest | I think he infected Movie Codec, not our computers. If anything, he just gave Bjarne more work. | |

It’s been saved to our system file folders. It’s simply activated when the browser is on moviecodec.com
Gunblaza, all you should have to do is open up the memory stick directory on a PC (either by inserting the stick or via USB cable) and simply find and delete it. As for us PC infections, we have to wait for Bjarne.
And yes, I am most likely also infected. I just never logged out so it didn’t get me. ---

Don’t even attempt to criticize the intelligence someone who has better spelling, grammar, punctuation, social skills, and ability to actually think than you do. You’ll just prove how much of a dumbass you are. As for the image thing, even when you simply view the image, you have downloaded it. It might not cache itself, but you did at least temporarily download it, which means that a connection to wherever it’s downloaded from is made and files can get into your computer through that connection. ---

Yeah, I’ve noticed. Hopefully it’s just a glitch and not a really good anonymous hacker. ---
