khanh Guest | i have the mp4 digital player.. everytime i go to the music, it freezes =/ i found out the one of the files in there created some kind of virus, theres multiple folders in it that can’t seem to be erased within the mp4, but it wont connect to my computer. whenever it does, my computer wnt let me delete the files ..

frenchman Guest | most of these chinese mp4 players are hacked and therefore have all sorts of problems. khanh it sounds like you bought one that was hacked to say it was a larger capacity, try formatting it you will most likely find that it is 128mb or something similar. if people are going to by from china make sure you go for name brands like ainol (funny name!), the only problem with these is they require a funny video format. for these i recommend downloading a program called “AVI Converter 2.0” its free but a little hard to find.

mur38 Guest | I too have a clone 4gb 'mp4’player which of course does not play mp4’s but .amv files. The amv convert tool does a good job with straight .mpg but struggles with .avi, especially xvid. Anyone had any luck converting .avi straight to .amv without going through the drama of avi/mpg/amv?
