Sturzman Guest | Several movies I’ve downloaded will only play in black and white. The audio and video quality is fine, but for some reason everything’s greyscale. Is there a codec or some solution to convert these into color? Thanks for any help provided.

ChrisF Guest | I’m having the same problem. I happened without adjusting any settings. It happened with videos I have stored on my pc. Yesterday they displayed in color, today black and white. I’m currently downloading and reinstalling the codecs to see if it fixes the prob.

aurelio Guest | You have a nVidia graphics card, right?
You can solve your problem by resetting some settings. You can find a tutorial to fix it here (halfway down the main page):

cwkgo Guest | problem solved!
this is what I did. I went to
control panel — > display , went to the graphics cards tab and my saturation was down to 0% @@
I changed it back to 100% and colours appeared!
hope this would help.
