MP4 player not being connected to computer (Made in China)

Could anybody help me ?I have a MP4 player, i don’t use it for about 4 months counting back from now, now i want to use it but when i plug the usb cabble to connect to computer it does not work, the screen of computer has showed 'USB Device Not Recognised the device....'. How i solve this problem, thanks in advance, the mp4 player still work well except not connected to computer
