people with less memory problems ur mp4/mp3 players were hacked to make the computer think it had 8 GB but it did not start with 8 GB they start out with 1 gb aka 960 MB
DO NOT upgrade firmware if it appears like this, the memory is telling the truth now u only have 960 Real megabytes

i have lisong mp4 version 9.0.50 also as many others have purchased from ebay. showing disk error on everything other than the radio and the phone book but this only shows 911. was working fine then nothing it says that the supposed 4mg it had has disappeared and there is 0% on everything have tried looking up for quick fix in hope it will work again but no go. hoping someone out there with the same problem may be able to help. am reporting this to ebay to stop other innocents buying just hope it works. would appreciate anyone telling me can these be repaired or is it a waste of time?????

My mp3 player device is dead because of wrong firmware upgrade.Mp3 player upgrade tool is now showing recovery mode. However, I have lost the recovery firmaware file during reinstallation of the mp3 player software.
I tried other available firmware versions to recover my mp3 player, but they are invalid.

Refering several reviews, regarding this version of firmware, I came to know about dead mp3 players wich have the similar tragic fate.

As I have mentioned earlier, I lost my recovery file during reinstallation of the mp3 software. But some of you might have the recovery file safe on your systems,in case you have not reinstalled or have not upgraded with a different firmware.

Therefore,please search for firmware file (.FW) in your systems.You might find file named $actsdk$.fw. This is a recovery file, which may resurrect your player.And if it works please reply and help me out with the firmware file.

jst got my mp3 from china, started uploadin songs on it, tried playin it and its like format error. also tried uploadin some pictures and the same old “format error”. on the mp3 it writes wma,mp3,mp4, and it plays only mp3 format. the version is 3.5.37 CM60026.someone help...

Hi,

I’m in the same boat as everyone it seems, my ME2 is saying “empty disk” and I can’t put any files on it. I got a “4gb”, but I’m pretty sure its a 1.8 or 2 or something. I think I need to re-install the firmware I guess... if anyone has it could they please send it to me? Thanks!!!

Hi everybody, i’m an italian boy.I received a s1 mp3 player wilson.co.ltd for my birthday.
It only works connected to the USB port, and when i try to disconnect the cable from the port USB and try to get on the player it displays “low battery”.
How do you solve this problem?
If someone can answer me i’ll be so thankful

hi everybody. i too just got the mp4 player. the default files are working fine. after copying some mp3 files in to the disk, it started misbehaving. the total file size 84 Gb. the mp3 player showing file error. pl help by providing, the firmware update version 9.0.50 . my email y_madhu_2004@yahoo.co.in
