Nero Vision Freezes during Burning Process

When I use Nero vision the first 2 times, it worked propertly backing up .AVI and .MPEG files, however I can no longer use Nero Vision to backup either .AVI or .MPEG, as the program stops burning part way through each backup. The timer still does continue to count however (so the whole program isn’t frozen). Any advice is greatly appreciated.
