Hello.

There’s been a lot of threads about burning subs onto dvd’s - I just want to burn a movie (Tarkovsky) onto a CD-R w/ subtitles - how is this possible?

also, how to properly work an AVI Splitter - probably seems like a stupid question - also, I can’t seem to find any free ones that have the amazing option of “equal split”.

thx a lot! always a help!

you could encode the subs into the movie and then burn the data file onto a cd, but your not gonna be able to watch it in a dvd player that doesn’t support divx/xvid, unless you convert the files to .VOB and then burn as a videoCD, but then the files might be too big to fit onto the cd, so you’d have to compress the .VOB until their small enough to fit.

Easier to just buy a dvd burner.

This will show you how to encode the subs

hey, my good pal aXXo.

http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=239675

This is a guide to using “diko” its freeware

DIKO allows you to get up to two hours in 1 KSVCD or 10 hours in 1 KDVD with good quality, depending on the content. DIKO is freeware, and everything it needs is also freeware.

The guide gives you links to what you need.

This means you can put up to 2 hours of movie onto a cd and play it in a dvd player, it will also add your .srt subs.
