Audio problems after converting

OK, I converted an AVI file into VOB files using winavi. Then I burned the files unto dvd using dvdshrink. The Video came out great but I have no audio when I try to play it in my dvd player. Weird thing is it sounds fine through my PC’s dvd player. What did I do wrong? I’m really new to this and I’ve been figuring it out so far, but I’m stuck now! Please help!
