york1623 Guest | I am backing up all my dvd’s on my computer and was wondering what is the best way to save these files. Does it really matter which way they are saved?
I’ve got different programs so I can save them in various ways. One way is with .IFO/.VOB/.BUP. I can also save them as .AVI or .MPEG, etc. Or even .iso files.
Which takes up less space? Does it affect the movie quality, etc?

york1623 Guest | Ok great. Thanks a lot. Now converting these files from .avi to .mpeg to .vob and whatever else doesn’t ruin the quality or whatever the case may be, does it?

Big Guy Guest | After converting... form DVD..the outcome is divx and AVI
the quality is that not same as the DVD..
“The quality Won’t be that good!"
for the Best quality, is copy the DVD same as the Original DVD..
