MSD Guest | Andrzej’s solution is for vids that you have dl or have on your HDD present. Probs with such vids can easily be fixed by upgrading/installing new codecs(pack).
What the original user was talking abt is the following...having a black screen when he uses a streaming site such as youtube to play a video.
After (maximizing) a while that video screen goes black, until you press “esc”...
Vista gives you an error popup that your gfx drier was shut down and that it is fixed now. This problem can’t be solved by following andrzej’s solution.
Try reinstalling flashplayer, that solved my issue with it...

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR SOLN, WAS TRYING REALY HARD TO FIGURE OUT THE NO VIDEO PROB IN MY NEW VISTA LAPTOP..WORKS PERFECT NOW AFTER SETTING OUYPUT MODULE TO WINDOWS GL MODE..
