i have searched all over the internet and nothing i have tried works to add subtitles permantently to avi files - i use vobsub and i have all the subtitle files i need to watch films on the computer with subs.
but i need to figure out how to burn them onto DVD with the subtitles applied - this is stressing me out now SO much because i have literally tried everything, some of the methods i have found may work but they have dodgy links for programmes needed to download etc
please HELP by giving me an easy step by step guide that you KNOW works!!! all the files are in AVI format
thanks

Marcus Aurelius Guest | "I need to watch films on the computer with subs” Keep the subs in the same folder or directory with your avi and play it with VLC or Media Classic both freewares and work with subs. If you want to convert the avi and to have subs on your dvd some converters they add the file automatic. DVD Santa is not bad but is not the only one converter in the world. I use VSO ConvertX to DVD is simple and fast and add subs by itself. For players go to www.codecs.com or look on this site for download. Also this site is good: http://www.9down.com/
