Coping DVD that are also CD-Rom?

I have tried to decrypte a movie that I just puchased and it is also a cd-rom and will not allow me to decrypte it. Can some one help me to be able to decrypte these types of movie so I can make back ups.

CD-Rom can’t read your movie.
You must install DVD-ROM or DVD burner.
