hi, here’s a lot of guys talked a lot of things about listening music and watching videos on ipod, for myself i would like to buy one psp to enjoy myself.

there are so many advantages about psp,and it’s indeed very convenient to take it when u are on the way of work or journey . So during this time ,how will u spend your boring time? It’s a good idea to buy one psp to watch movies ,listen to music and even play games, and the power is sufficient to spend a long time .

I have got one psp about one year ago, so according to my own experience ,I have got enough evidence to say it’s really worth to buy one psp.

and this time ,i also want to recommend one cool software to convert your video files, which have different expansion names, into psp,
that’s ImTOO MPEG Encoder and ImTOO PSP Video Converter ,which supports PSP Video format (MP4) and is capable of converting all popular video formats, such as MPEG, WMV, AVI to PSP Video format (MP4, H.264/MPEG-4).

As a MP4 converter, all conversion processes are very easy and fast with hight quality. We’re going to show you step-by-step how to put video on PSP, enjoy movies and videos with 16:9 wide screen on your PSP now!

as to mpeg, a lot of people must be very familiar with this .

MPEG, Moving Picture Expert Group, is the format of VCD, SVCD, DVD. This format applies lossy compression to reduce redundant info in active images, and to express it more clearly, MPEG makes use of the fact that the two contiguous images are almost the same, to extrat the redundant info of the latter image ,as so to meet the compression aim( the highest compression reaches 200:1).

At present, MPEG suite family members are MPEG-1,MPEG-2,MPEG-4.The other two MPEG-7 and MPEG-2 are right now under development.

And for AVI , AVI stands for Audio Video Interleave. This is a container video format that specifies certain structure how the audio and video streams should be stored within the file. AVI itself doesn’t specify how it should be encoded (just like the streaming format ASF),

so the audio/video can be stored in very various ways. Most commonly used video codecs that use AVI structure are M-JPEG and DivX . AVI contains code called FourCC which tells what codec it is encoded with.

First, Download ImTOO MPEG Encoder or ImTOO PSP Video Converter and install.

Second. Run ImTOO Video Converter first, load the file(s) by clicking the “Add” button in the main interface or choose “Add” in the File menu.

third. Highlight the file you want to convert, informations of the video file is displayed in the recording area. You can preview the file in the left preview window.

Then, highlight the loaded file and choose output format from “Profile” combo-box. There are four options in the ¡°Profile¡± box; one is for PSP audio format (MP3); the other three options are for video outputs in different quality.

You will get a first-class output file if you select ¡°Excellent Quality¡±, but the size of the file would be quite large in this way.

According to our test, in excellent quality conversion, if your original video file is in 2 hours duration, the output file will be larger than 500 MB, which means it is beyond the capability of 512 MB memory stick.

But with ¡°Minimal Size¡± output, the output file will be about 220 MB, which means it is possible that you store two movies on your 512 MB memory disk.

Generally speaking, we recommend the default setting, ¡°PSP Video Format¡±, which will produce medium quality in proper size.

Then, click “Browse..." button to select folder or entering the path directly to decide where to save the output file; “C:\temp” is the default one.

Click “Encode” to start converting. After the conversion is done, there will be two output files for each single loaded file. One is the .MP4 video file, playable with QuickTime on PC, another is a .THM file.

Both of them are necessary for PSP. The two files are in the same main title, for example, if your original file is “test.avi”, after the conversion, you will get two files: “test.mp4” and “test.thm”.

The latest version of the software has integrated PSP Video Manager, offered by www.sharewareguide.net, which will be found in the “Tool” menu. Please get your PSP connected with PC first, and then run PSP Video Manager from the “Tool” menu.

The program will detect “C:\Temp” automatically and show the PSP files in this folder on the left; the files on the PSP will be shown on the right, shown as “Removable Disk”.

please highlight the file which you want to put into the PSP and then click ¡°Copy->¡±. The file will be transferred into PSP.

After this step, you will see your file on the right, which means that the file is playable on the PSP now.

If u have come this step, ur work is done, what are u waiting? Just enjoy on your psp!

What is Sony PlayStation 3 exactly?

PlayStation 3, trademarked PLAYSTATION 3 - abbreviated PS3, is the name of Sony’s seventh generation era video game console, third in the PlayStation series.

It is the successor to PlayStation and PlayStation 2. Sony officially unveiled the PS3 to the public on May 16, 2005 during an E3 conference. It wasn’t until E3 2006 that games were shown on actual PlayStation 3 systems.

In preparation for launch, Sony demonstrated 27 playable PS3 titles during the Tokyo Game Show in September 2006 on final hardware.

PlayStation 3 supported Blu-ray Disc hard media
A Blu-ray Disc can store substantially more data than the common DVD format, because of the shorter wavelength which allows more information to be stored digitally in the same amount of space.

In comparison to HD DVD, which also uses a blue laser, Blu-ray Disc has more information capacity per layer. Sony has released 50 GB recordable Blu-ray Discs and will soon be releasing 50GB Blu-ray Disc media discs.

Here is something about Sony PlayStation 3 (60Gcool

Swanky design with quiet operation; all games in high-definition; PSP-like user-friendly interface; plays high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to standard DVDs; built-in Wi-Fi; 60GB hard drive;

Bluetooth support for wireless controllers and accessories is coming; backwards-compatible with PS2 and PS1 titles; built-in memory card readers; online play is free; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply

So much things about it ,and this time I would say something about the aspect of multimedia ,especially

The PS3’s media features are extensive — enough so that the console could be a worthwhile purchase even for people who never deign to even fire up a game.

for starters, the PlayStation 3 hits the shelves as the most affordable Blu-ray player you can buy — merely half the price of $1,000 to $1,300 models from the likes of Samsung, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, and — ironically — Sony.

Before I delve into the PS3’s HD movie prowess (see “movie watching," below), let’s take a holistic look at the console’s multimedia functionality.

In addition to the built-in memory card reader on the 60GB model (we applaud Sony for not subjecting us to a Memory Stick-only environment), the PS3 can read digital photos from a variety of USB-attached devices, including most digital cameras, the PSP, USB flash drives, and home-burned CD-Rs.

On the video front, the PS3 plays Blu-ray discs in full high-definition as well as DVD movies.
It also supports MPEG1, MPEG2, and MPEG4/h.264 video files from flash, USB, or disc-based media (reading from the “video” directory).

If u want to do some converting work on your PS3, I recommend PS3 Video Converter for Windows, which allows you convert multimedia files to PS3, PSP video format MPEG-4/ AVC with real high-quality which could be played on PS3 and PSP. In addition, it supports the output files as definition 480p/720p and 1080p. u can get it on http://www.mp4converter.net/ps3-video-converter-win.html

If you transfer the videos to the PS3’s hard drive, thumbnails on the video menu are shown as 15-second video clips, rather than just as still images of the first frame of the video.

As for music, the PS3 supports most of the major music-file types, including MP3, ATRAC, AAC, and WAV, and like the Xbox 360, has a built-in music visualizer.

As with the photos, you can import songs from a flash memory card or a USB thumbdrive — again, you’ll have to create a special Music folder — or rip songs directly to the hard drive from a CD.

Let’s start by talking about the WOW factor (no I’m not talking Warcraft either, sorry guys).

This thing is hot, and it is one sexy piece ofelectronic goodness.

Just looking at it will make the hairs on your armsstand at attention, the screen is huge, but the system isn’t and that’s apretty amazing thing to accomplish.

Having a 4.3” screen and still staying roughly the same size as the original GBA system is pretty incredible, plusit doesn’t weight much more than the original GBA either.

Sony did a prettyincredible job of making more than half the system a LCD screen and stillmanging to fit all the buttons, a D-pad and even an analog stick on thesystem (no it’s not the speaker). For the overall WOW factor, or design if you want how can I not give it a 10/10.

How about games? Well games look fantastic, Wipeout is incredible and looks better than Wipeout on the PS2, Tony Hawk looks fantastic too graphics wise.

There is a load time you’ll have to wait for, but it’s not terrible.

In Wipeout and Tony Hawk you can be playing in less than a minute from the time you first switch the PSP on, which is on par with many PS2 games, in Lumines you can be playing in under 30 seconds.

Obviously Lumines has less graphical textures to load so this might be a factor is some more intensive games, but I’m sure as developers increase the graphics with programing tricks they will also learn to keep the load times acceptable.

Now lets talk about the use, the video and audio are pretty amazing, even though the built in speakers are a little weak they still do a good job of getting the sound out, and anything with stronger sound would have drained the battery more, so I understand why this is and I can totally live with it, plus using a good set of headphones is totally incredible and will save you battery time too.
