I downloaded DivX521XP2K.exe and it worked instantly! Just google it and you will find it immediatly and it only takes about 1 min to download.....Hurrahh!!!!!!

PRANKSTER05 Guest | ok, i followed Ducks orders, and i still cant watch movies...when i download the DX50 it gives me errors on some files...and dosn’t work!! I downloaded the DivXCreate and the DivXplay, and both of them have errors in it. Anyone else knows any other websites, to get the DX50?!?!?!

So i wiped it. And now just tryed to download it again but its smothered in adware!
So i tried to play my movies on windows med playa, and the sound was there, but no pics.
Apparently it didn’t have the codex (DivX MPEG-4 (DX50) codec ) so it offered a link to this ok ish site..Divx.com
im jus checkin it for adware now, and if all clear ill give u lot the thumbs up for this site.
And..if u dont hear from me...ive probs gotta another virus. sigh....

DX50 is found in the “DivX Community Codec 6.5.1” which, as far as I know, is obtainable only inside the full DivX bundle. No matter where you go on the site, no matter what you try to download, you’ll be downloading the full package, with all their “bonus extras”
Then again, hidden software that monitors your activity is claimed to be a bonus too, as it will “enhance your shopping experience"

The only thing that lead me to this was d/ling the GSPOT codec identifier. That program “said” that it installed the codec, but after checking both ways that DUCK told us to check it was never installed! Thanks for such a thorough explanation to the codec mystery!
