Richard, easiest download the free DivX player (v.6....) at www.divx.com I had the dx50 codec problem with some .avi, now works perfectly!

I am either an asshole or this shit wont work. In lamens terms I have divx 6 and I downloaded and tried all the programs and my video still isnt compatible with dx50

OK, I am trying to watch a movie I downloaded from WinMX and every time I try to watch it on real player the message...Unable to render; DX50 decompressor not found...pops up. I downloaded the DivX free download and it STILL pops up.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I need serious help. I have downloaded a video but whenever I play it the music and sounds are fine but no video shows up, just that damned spiral thingy that dances around when I listen to music. I have tried the whole download at the dix place or whatever, several hundred times in fact, and it is still not working. Sorry to sound pissy, but this shit is not working I am want to watch my damn video!
Help?

hi guys .. i just downloaded the movie BE COOL but it doesnt work .. and when i downloaded that user told me that if it doesn´t worked i have to download the codec MY Man. and when i searched for it i got 0 resultat .and they told me that My Man Codec is not exist sad

Simplify....
FFDShow, set to use the codecs you want.
Handles MOST Audio and Video you will come across.
FFDshow use the open source code, so most of the individual filters use the same base code. Keep it Simple!

I tried to do what it took to down load the dx50 stuff and I don’t know anything about computers and all I am trying to do is put movies on my IPOD does anyone know hoe to do that APPLE don’t know sh —
Please let me know I am leaving for Vegas tomorrow and want to watch a movie on the plane.

Try the VLC media player. No trouble with any codec. it will eat everything. And best: It is 100% free (open source)
