I have DivX player on my computer, and want to watch a movie on it. But it keeps coming up with “your computer has not got the codec needed to listen to the audio of this file."
And i just wondered what else i can do, i have downloaded the AC3 filter needed to play audio code tag: 8192, and it is still coming up with the same message!
Someone please help before i lose my mind?

guest51083 Guest | hey i dled the audio codec but i dont get the tag 8192 anymore but the sound quality is really crappy. i tried changin the config to make it at 20 db but still very low sound. is this becasue i dont have a sound card/ if not is there a codec i can get to make it louder? thx

ben121 Guest | Hi, I have downloaded the codec but the volume is way too low, i can hardly hear it and all volume controls are up max.
I have gone into the master volume control via the icon in the control pannel but this doesnt seem to do much. I think it may be because my lap top speakers are set quiet anyway. Can anyone help please?
