Q:
My older current system has no problems playing DIVx and the picture is good quality.

I have however just re-installed my box and now when I play back my movies, they are so slow, especially when switching to full screen, it segments when playing, it feels like the days of playing MOV or MPG files on a 486SX in windows 95.
with 8 megs of system ram and a Cirus Logic 1 meg gfx card.

Please can anybody explain what has gone wrong or what I can try to fix this problem.
