Oh Great .. Another .bin .cue Thread. Burning To DVD

Hey kids! I’ve burned a .bin .cue file to CD and can watch it fine on my puter, but I want to watch the movie on my TV. Any way to convert the files to .vob or even .avi or the like? Or did I miss a step and I can burn .bin files to DVD? Every time I insert a recordable DVD, Nero tells me it needs to be a CD.

If nero says it’s a CD, then - well - it’s a CD What exactly are you trying to burn if i might ask?

You propably have a SVCD or the like, and unfortunately, that ain’t no DVD. I’m not an expert on the matter, but my guess is that you need to convert it one way or the other (possibly the long way SVCD -> AVI -> DVD) But like i said, not really my terrain.

It was a movie file not a game. Although I’ve burned a game file CD which worked just fine. I did find a bin2iso converter and converted the file to iso but apparently the file itself was corrupted or something. Either way I ended up deleting the files because I found a .vob torrent of the same thing.

But in the future, any advice?

Get PowerISO. I might say it the distance but not the future.
