I have a mac FYI...just putting it out there..

Ok, I need to make a copy of a file on a disc that is only readable. I can copy it to my hard drive, but it is about 8.1 GB and the disc I want to copy it to is 4.7 GB.

I have a program called Handbrake which allows me to compress the file considerably to about 1-2 GB. I need to know which format to make the file, so I can burn it to a DVD. I want to be able to use this file in a regular DVD PLayer in my basement. The choices were MP4, AVI and OGM. I have no clue on which to choose, and I dont want to waste a DVD on this/

SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY SOMETIME SOON!!!!

THANKS
