sandy Guest | Hi all,
I am trying to burn an avi file which has been converted to a dvd having .bup, .ifo, .vob files. I converted it using Winavi converter which took me only 20 minutes to convert.
I am trying to burn these files with Nero 6 and it gives me an error saying “DVD files reallocation failed. Resulting DVD-video might be unplayable”
When I try burning with Winavi itself, I get the error - " Write first track fail”
What am I doing wrong here? Any help in burning these files is appreciated.
Thanks.

Lily Guest | hi, WinAVI has been updated to 5.8 recently, which is more steady. Please visit its web http://www.winavi.com/video-converter.htm to redownload one to have a try!

Big_al Guest | Burn it anyway, I do and it has always played ok for me.
If not try letting winavi split each file every 1000Mb, this stopped the error for me when I had a play.
I’m using version 5.8

scifighter Guest | dude thats the easy part i to had the same hassle as you are but i found it if you copy just all the vob files then paste then into the vts folder when going to burn with nero then it will work as thats what i do and it works every time
