On the 360. Not in the menu. Look at the back of the 360. All units have numbers on them.

I hooked it into my DSL black box.... thing, which is hooked up to the internet.

Do i have to input my IP manually?

I don’t think it matters what cord i am using, it just won’t connect to live because it says IP Address failed.

Where do i get a IP address though???

Well the guide says follow the instructions on the 360 menu, and i did, and i have just one more step.

It can either set the IP’s automatically, or you have to do it manually.

Since i don’t have a router, i am forced to do it manually, but i don’t know my computers IP codes.
