I just got one of those players also they are a bit tricky to set up. When you attach it to your computer it should show up as a Removable disk drive. I then copied about 30 mp3 files to the new removable disk drive that showed up. I then converted the second season of Lost from .avi to .amv using the following settings:
128x128 size
High frame rate
High Image quality
Mode 1 Image focus(not sure about this setting)
each show converted to about 75megs.
how do i do that? i’ve downloaded musi video’s of limewire , it says under removable disk e thar it’s on there but when i go to play it it’s not in the amv. i think it needs to be converted, if you have an answer please email me @ cherryblossms_34@hotmail.com. thank you

tchr Guest | We bought said mp3 player for our son and he immediately downloaded all his favorite songs...then decided to delete one he changed his mind about. All of a sudden the screen says “NO FILES!" So then he plugs into the computer to download the songs all over again and it says “NO MEMORY”...WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?????

Deez3 Guest | I’m having trouble with finding the shuffle feature .. I got mine without a boolet or anything but the volume is " while the music is playing hit the left direction or the V key. You will notice the vol. in the little red box start flashing. Now use the track forward or track back buttons for up and down. Hit the left direction again when finished."
Anyone know about the shuffle?

Blue Auros Guest | My problem is a little different than those already covered. I plug the player into my computer and the player connects. The images of the camera and computer come up on the screen...
The computer doesn’t know the MP3 player exists.
Any advice would be appreciated.

z_hawkeye Guest | My friend has one of these players that just died. Found that the battery had no voltage and would not charge (internal short). Removed the battery and hit it with some high voltage to blow the short. The battery then measured approx 3.8V and I reinstalled it. The unit still does nothing, and the computer does not recognize it when plugged in. It appears to have a 24MHz oscillator that is not running. I can see voltage pulses to the oscillator, but it fails to run. I can’t believe that the oscillator and battery would fail at the same time.
Anyway, by disconnecting the battery, did I delete the firmware and/or music?
Are schematics for these available?
Thanks
