hello everyone, I am new at this and have been searching the net for help. there is way too many options. here is what i would like to do:
download movies, burn to dvd, possibly hook laptop to tv.
here is what i have:
new dell inspiron e1505 with dvd burner.

is there a good site to cover all of this? like from the very start?
any tips you could give would be great before i spend the rest of the night searching the net and not getting anywhere. thanks in advance.

Providing you have the original and you are looking for legitimate backups only, then go for torrents.

to write your back ups to disc, try avi2dvd, nero, dvd santa or riverpast video cleaner pro.

To get the most from your laptop, i would go windows media centre edition.

Thats all i can say without possibly getting in trouble from the mods.

hope this helps.
