2) Select the “security” tab choose “custom."
3) On the “security settings” window the 4th option down “Download unsigned
ActiveX controls." Change this to “Prompt."
4) Click “ok” on “security settings” and “ok” on “Internet options." Close a
ll browsers and then attempt to view the recording, you should receive a “se
curity warning” and be prompted to install the codec, select “yes” to allow
the unsigned codec to be installed.

HiroHito Guest | that link no longer works microsoft took it down, i’m on windows 98 I have the same problem and non of your solutions work, media windows player is an awful program, not as simple as quicktime, hey I hate macs as much as the ne next guy but quicktime 6 is just totally superior :P | |

I have a silly rank Rep: 49  Joined: 03 Nov 2003 Posts: 1,305 | Just a followup to what 'tfryar' posted. If you are going to follow his advise be sure to go back and turn set unsigned activex option back to 'no'. This is for security reasons that you need to do this  --- What a moderator can do to you, I can do to a moderator...
