This is BS. EA got rid of it because they think it gives an “unfair advantage”. WTF?
This sucks. I just got BF2142 and I also got a widescreen monitor and because EA thinks widescreens are unfair, it looks stretched and crappy.

ha ha shame, u shuld all no widescreen is second thought about when it comes to producers, and hd tv makes ur normal tv signal look crap!

Yeah, but every game other than Battlefield has wide screen.

And wide screen does mess up normal TV, that’s why most let you compact it to 4:3 mode...if only I could figure out how to do that with my monitor...

wat they could of done is cut the view from the top and bottem giving the widescreen owner the disadvantage.

Well, actually it’s stretched...they should make it so you can set it to widescreen so it isn’t stretched, but whe you playing, have it 4:3 but not stretched and centered....or just give us widescreen....

Titan mode is awesome. And the drop pods make it so cool. And then you blow up the thing and gotta get the f out and jump.

I’m in the same boat... bought a 22” 16:10 WS LCD the other day specifically for Xbox360 and PC gaming... and what happens when I play NFS Carbon and BF 2142? Gargh... so frustrating
