Marc Guest | I couldn’t get audio on a couple of my movies. I had a Tag 8192 error. I tried using the the AC3 codec and now WMP and Divx Player just crash on me. I’m running windows XP. Is there another codec that’s more compatible with XP or is there anything else I can do to watch these movies with sound? Or am I just stuck?

1) To solve my no sound problem I’ve downloaded the “klcodec” and presto, SOUND. Now I get sound via MS Media Center, Classic Media Player — but NOT with Windows Media Player.
2) As pointed out in a previous post AC3 is supposed to play 5.1 channels, yet it only plays through my 2 front speakers. Does anyone know how to coax sound out of 5 speakers and a sub? Thanks.
