No Sound/Audio Data: Tag 8192

i downloaded the ac3 filter - 1.01. i adjusted all possible tabs and there is still low volume on my dvd output files from avi conversion (high volume preset, etc.) Warning message appears at startup saying the UTILITY IS FOR OFFLINE CONFIGURATION. I dont think this is the problem but who the hell knows at this point. Any suggestions on further adjustments or latest audio codec packages would be appreciated. thanks

i have this video mpeg format

but when i play it , it has no sound but there is no problem with the picture i am using windows media player to play it then the video title is in red ... how can i get the sound ???

i downloaded the codec (tag 8192) from this site http://www.xvidmovies.com/faq/#4.4
and the audio worked, but it is REALLY quiet. is that a problem with the codec or the video itself?
i’m going to try to download the AVI Codec pack 2 and hopefully that will work.

Okay uhm... I tried taking as much advice as i could all leading to the same thing, no sound, still. I tried it on DivX, WMP, and Winamp, WMP says i cant play the file (though it plays the video) Winamp just sits there and plays the Video. And DivX gives me a wierd error. (Not including Tag 8192)

So uhm... Any help???

and shows of type “audio data : tag 8192

I have the same problem with divx player...I instaled the codec and my movie works with multiple audio tracks....THANK’s A LOT

I’ve downloaded the coded and before that I found the latest version (cant activate it coz of serial). One thing I noticed is when you installed it on the latest version of DIVX the picture is faster than the sound (literally ^_^)... well they say light is faster than sound... anybody got ideas on how to match the sound with the video?

I came to know that my movie required tag 8192 codec , so i downloaded this AC3 codec. but its still not working. I also downloaded the GSpot software which tells us what are the codecs required to play the movie. It is showing that all the codecs are installed(including tag 8192 AC3).i still cant hear the sound. when i play with divx it is still giving me error that it needs tag 8192. i tried playing it with winamp, real, divx and windows media but didnt work.

it took two days to download this movie and now i am not able to watch...someone please help..

hey guys! i jus got an avi file of iron maidens live after death frm bear share....i cant get no audio on dis file....showz da audio tag 8192 problem....i downloaded da ac3codec or watever itz called...still didnt work...and no my wmp or divx did not crash ....i think this file was copied frm an original cd and these original cd’s come wit playerz of their own...is there anyway i can get this to work...somebody plz help!
