PIccolo Guest | Im Haveing a problem with my TMPGEnc encocder i try to put a .avi file in it but it keeps telling me that it is unsupported im thinking thats its a codec problem but i dont know where to get a codec from. Any help on this subject would be very Appreciated.

anonymous Guest | you might want to use gspot to analyze the contents of the file.
If all else fails and it’s definitely an avi (and assuming you have huge amounts of disk space) convert it with virtualdub into an uncompressed avi or compressed with a lossless codec (like huffyuv or techsmith) then try reading it in tmpgenc. | |

pohtato Guest | i also have that problem. I am 100% positive that it is an .avi file that is supported.
how do you convert it with virtualdub into an uncompressed avi or compressed with a lossless codec. appreciate if you could give some instruction on how to go about doing it.
