Are there any programs that enable you to convert .rmvb files to .avi using mac. I am aware of quite a few programs that provide this on windows but have yet to find one for mac osx , any help would be appreciated.

tate Guest | Use ffmpegX. If you run into problems with the .rmvb file format, just change it to .rm and away you go!

arcani Guest | Download the FREE Realplayer application:
http://www.real.com/mac/realplayer
Right click on the RealPlayer.app you downloaded and select “Show package contents”
Copy the folder “Plugins” in the application bundle:
/Contents/Frameworks/HXClientKit.framework/HelixPlugins/
To Here:
/Library/Application Support/ffmpegX/
Now rename the “Plugins” folder to “reallib"
