Judge’s method worked for me - thanks a lot. There was a video I had to see using Real Player, and it loaded after using Judge’s method and then reinstalling Real Player.

I’ve tried everything suggested to remove “Real Player” but it won’t allow me to do it. It always states “Uninstaller component missing”.
HELP!!!

hey ppl try it out my way how i did i listed all the steps i did and it worked hope it works for u as well here u go

short cut way fellows:
1. do u have a shortcut icon on u r desktop if i dotn have one create one
2. then right click on the shortcut and go to properties click on it
3. then there will be a pop up window which will give u 3 options to choose from
4. choose the tab find target......... it will take u to the folder which u wanat to uninstall the real player
5. on the opened window look for the folder named Setup
6. double click on it and when it opens there will be a icon named .r1pclean.exe double click on it there will be a error but ignore it if anything comes up click on ok it will take a few minutes to uninstall
7. when the process is over restart the pc

it should work perfectly fine just instal the real again and it will work fine good luck

well here is a long way around
1. there must be a my computer icon ot a tab on u r pc somewhere click on it it will open up and u will see all the items on u r pc like floppy drive cd rom or dvd rom or any other icon u have to look espicially for Local Disk (Csmiley double click on it
2. u will have to look for program files folder if u cant see any folders they should be hidding if on the screen it says this files are hidden there will be be a option to unhide them the click on the option which says show the contents of this folder

3. then click on program files.

4. look for the folder real if u cant see the any folders do the same thing as above to unhide the folders.

5. when u get to the real folder , double click on it

6. then double click on realplayer folder

7. then click on Setup

8. then click on .r1pclean.exe just like in the above shortcut method

after u do all the above u should have no problems if u do just write back to me i try to find a solution

well it will be good if u could delete the folder real when u restart teh pc the fellowing metthod to do it go to my computer the click on Local Disk (Csmiley the click on program files then look for the folder real and delete it the dotn forget to restart the pc before u do anythign else

anyproblem do let em know

good luck take care

have a nice day

Os

I had this problem too but now i uninstall this f***** real.
First i do the same as Judge that is go to disk C:/Real/Setup/r1pclean.exe but with this i cant remove all components of real....
Second step...Start/Search/All files and Folders...write there Real and delete every file that was part of realone player. Then i go Add/Remove click remove on real....and it was gone...yeeaahhh wink))
but anyone knows where i can get a normal real player??? sad

for those who’s having 'uninstaller component missing' problem....try all these method and will 100 % fix wink

follow the step provided by judge

then delete the real folder at programfile/common file..followed by add/remove

then delete any related file of folder in start program

reinstall it ...and the real works perfectly for me now smiley

Do this. Go to your control panel (through start bar), add remove programs, remove real player (it’ll say it’s already been removed so just agree to get it off the list). And real is gone!

If you want it back, download the setup file from the official site www.real.com, and following the instructions you will have a perfectly working real player.

You have to manually kill BOTH folders (including the common files one) to get Real Player to go away without its missing component.

I was able to run my Real player by forcibly uninstalling it using “Advanced Uinstaller Pro” software.
I downloaded that software from www.download.com
Then I reinstalled real player and got it successfully running.

Hi guys,

After i click on .r1pclean.exe
I deleted any folders or files i can find to do with real.
Also deleted real shortcuts and under start button.
But wen i went to Control Panel ADD OR Remove program, and try to delete it. It still said uninstaller missing. Then i click ok.

Can i install a new realplayer now?
Or is it not fixed yet?

Also the folders and files to do with real are in my recycle bin, do i need to get rid of them b4 i install a new realplayer?

Thanks guys. Really appreicate your help here. smiley
