Well I am amused that you target me mainly but dude honesty running people over with the police mode locked and having unlimited ammo is good but killing so many people over and over again gets really boring and with hardly any people even trying to fight back against you it makes killing them too easy, there are much better games out there like Metroid, Zelda, Halo, SSBM, Call of Duty, Casltevania, Final Fantasy, there are just so many better games out there that GTA cannot even compare not to mention these games have replay value that never gets old it can last much longer then GTA’s replay value ever could. Plus they have much more diverse gameplay basiclly letting you choose whatever you want to do next like continue on with the main quest of mission or get sidetracked to hunt other stuff down. These games are better then GTA ever could be and they are some of the most major games in the history of gaming. My friend used to Play GTA and he beat it in only under 15 hours, not very long for play time, most long games like Metroid, Zelda, or Halo take at least 40 or more hours to beat sometimes games like Zelda can take more then 40 hours if you want to get everything.

I agree that GTA is good but it gets boring so fast. I would never buy it personally. It’s one of though games I would only play at my friends house for a few min. I don’t hate on it though.

Boring, gets old fast? GTA gives more freedom than like 60 of your average games combined. Like 85% of the missions I play are a lot of fun, and there are tons of side missions too. I have yet to get a 100% on any GTA game I’ve played.Plus GTA is made in a way in which you don’t always have to do what the game wants you to do. A lot of GTA innovation comes from the player, in other words the GTA games, especially San Andreas allows the player to set up there own challanges and mini games to rather than just trying to beat all the missions and earn 100%. Like I’ve said before even after you get 100% completion, you still haven’t truly played 100% of the game. Hell I don’t know how much time I’ve killed playing blackjack in San Andreas or messing with the military in a freaking stunt plane.

Okay I’m back. So, why I hate GTA. Well I think it’s over rated, boring, repetative, and generic. Every GTA game has been the same. I can barely tell the difference from a sequel of GTA to the first GTA ever made, it’s all the same. Killing people that won’t even attack back and fie so easily isn’t fun. It’s not even realistic. In real life if the SWAT team or even the army came to bring you down, you wouldn’t be able to get. In the game you can easily get out without just by running. I think it’s for people with really bad taste in video games because it sucks. The only people I know that actually like that game are retards. Not literally retarded people, but really stupid people. There were these guys who loved GTA but were so stupid that they actually went out and stole a car thinking the police force was as weak as the game depicted. It’s nothing special. Just a game for simple minded people who don’t know how to have fun.

1.Anyone who has even played Sna Andreas from more than 2 minutes can tell the difference from Vice City. I’ve listed things that are new before on this forums, but if I listed evrything San Andreas added or changed, I’d be sitting here all day and night. Check the gamefaqs FAQ on GTA games if you want to really know some of them.

2.A lot of people in GTA fight back Gangs,bosses, police,and sometimes even the average Jo will take swings at you if you piss them off.

3.Let’s see, it took me 4 RPG shots to kill Sonny, I fired over 6 at Big Smoke. Hell No there are not easy to kill. No to mention Sonny and his body guards have guns that will tear you apart if yur hit by them. Other than a few bosses, an individual is easy to kill sure no big deal. But then you’ve got 10,15, 20 or more guys coming at you with big guns, it’s not going to be easy believe me.

4. No duh the Army or Swat Team would take you down a lot easier in real life than in GTA. It’s a video game. If the Swat or Army guys meant an automatic loss for the player, the game would get to frustrating and too diffucult to beat or get anywhere. Besides I’d say most GTA main charcters are up there with James Bond skill wise. Oh and running with the FBI or Army there is suicidal unless you are running in parts of the city where vehicles can’t go to like an alleway or on top of a building. Running in the open is most definately suicide though.

5. I’ve heard of like 10 people out of the millions and millions of copies of GTA sold go out and actually commit a crime. Big Whoop, I could play any game and blame a criminal action on it.

6. Simple minded people would say the game is boring because all they can figure out how to do is shoot and drive, GTA just isn’t about shooting and driving, there is so muc more too it.

Just because i find it boring does not mean i’m simple minded. It’s just really not my kind of game. I’m more of an rpg person myself and i’m sure you have to do much more on rpgs.

15 hours to beat any GTA title is a complete lie; most GTA titles have upwards of 60 hours of play time, and Sand Andreas could easily run into the 100 hour mark.

But i digress...

I dislike GTA for just a couple of simple reasons

1. Terrible visuals and cardboard cut-out environments which offer no depth or realism as you can only enter about %25 of buildings.

2. Trageting system gets frantic in situations with loads of enemies, and the gameplay is repeitive, repetitive, repetitice

3. A.I. poses no real threat unless they charge you in a giant swarm (which they often do) resulting in some incredibly frustrating scenarios.

Other than that, GTA is a fun game that tells a decent story and offers to a huge playground to wreak havoc in. Overall its just not my kind of game

Gta is a very good game theres only 2 problems ones not that big witch is the fact that no one can move there fingers and a big one witch is that the AI is incredibly stupid. One they dont take cover, Two cops try to sneak up on you by croutching right infront of you, and three they run in strait lines so its easy to pick them off one by one

I think everyone needs to remember the graphics suck because the game was released in 2004 and if building entry was your thing you could just buy True Crime Streets of New York which has many buildings you can enter.
The reason people like GTA is because there is so much freedom and you dont have to devote your entire time to mindlessly killing people as the game covers many areas

Go on a cruise around the waters in a boat
Stealth (sneaking around the police station without being caught is always good fun)

Get a haircut and new clothes

Weightlifting and treadmil
Biking
Car racing
Swimming
Driving and flying lessons
Buy properties
Play video games
Play pool

Oh and yes you can chainsaw the odd car if you really desire.

Ugh. Until around 2005 I had never played a GTA game in my life. Then I got San Andreas to see what all the fuss was about. Honestly, I wanted my money back.

I spent about 30 minutes playing, and then I went online, got some cheatcodes, and was able to entertain myself for another 2 hours. Total waste of money. It wasn’t even fun. And to be honest I don’t give a shit about all the crap you can do. I play a game for fun, not to live a separate life.

Swapping weapons on the xbox is a chore

Anyway did you attemtp the missions or just walk around killing people and doing drivebyes for two hours?
