Getting girls to play games

My friend informed me about a formula to get girls to like video games espcialy FPS games. This is his theory, I still believe that you have to be raised a video game girl to truly be one but, I’ll list his theory to give hope to some of you. Ohh and he has also said he has raised several halo 2 girls with this..

First you start out with rhythm based game. You have to understand that guys were raised with video games. Guys understand complicated button movement and strategy a lot more because of this. You can’t just drop a girl who has never picked up a controller into a game of Halo and expect her to like it. She wants to kill not think of the best way to kill so you start out slow. Rhythm based games get her ready for button combos and get her used to moving quickly from button to button.

Once she gets used to this and you’ll notice she will want to play it more so you move on to semi strategy games like Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing. It’s also good to stay in the hand holds for a little bit such as the DS incase she is afraid of stigma from controllers or consol gaming. So you get her used to having to adapt to a game and having multiple things going on at once. This gets her to understand that video games are not always just one main goal.

After this she can move on to games like Final Fantasy. Girls love FF games and I don’t understand why since I’m not a fan but, anyway. She will get into RPGs and there she will learn about fighting. She will use some of the knowledge from rhythm based games to fight and will soon have a strong grasp on the fundamentals of a FPS game.

So with this theory the progression to get a girl to pay FPS is smooth. She will not be murdering you any time soon but, the female brain is actually made to play video games and she will adapt fast. Look out she could give you a run for your Halo money and the added bonus of strip slayer.

or you can just skip all that and bribe her with “hey, play this game and we can do it"

Your best bet would be to start out with Mario and Tetris. They tend to find those the most attractive.

Actually, it’s a fact. They’re more likely to try those games out 1st. Once you get em playing those and they get better you stick fps in.
