yes i see,
i suggest turning your speakers on and turn them up and if that doesn’t work, plug them into the right hole in the back of your computer.

Yeah I would have thought of that if the sound on my computer wasn’t working for all applications rather than just these files.

Smartass.

yes, and how about this one
have you checked that the volume on the quicktime player or whatever it is you use to play the file, is turned up and isn’t muted either

Try Xilisoft Video Converter. This soft it`s an efficent tool for video conversion, and works very well with .MOV files (It works fast, without losing the original files quality).

I`ve just tried that persons recommendation for WinAvi and it`s rubbish. It just sits there and says - converting but doesnt actually encode anything. Tried several versions even a cracked serial version. Thanks for wasting my time.

I recently got a copy of rad video tools to convert a .mov file to avi,the video plays fine in quicktime format, but when converted it only plays one frame. The Rad tools conversion info even says 1 frame converted after it is done. I need more than just one frame!
thanks for any help you could send my way.

Hi
I am assuming you are a Mac user trying to convert mov to wmv:

Two popular options:
(i) Freeware product called “WMV export Component”
Read the blurb about it at

It’s a fairly new product out the but has had some really good reviews in recent mags. Converts a mov file to wmv no probs.

(ii) Flip4Mac Also highly rated. But this costs approx $100. You can download a demo version which limits you to about 10 seconds. Good for checking it out though.

I suggest check out the freeware from popwire.

Kind regards from Oz

Bwahaha, you idiot actually pay for software? I must have every major program, from Corel to Photoshop (not to mention shit like QT Pro), and I never paid a single euro... dickheads that pay for soft are pathetic...
