Thank the lord for VLC Guest | Whoever created VLC is a genius, if you encounter downloaded folder that is full of .rar files (15 or 20) extract the first one to wherever you want it and you will end up with a .bin and .cue file (the .cue file is a shortcut to the .bin file), and it will automatically extract the rest of the .rar files to there. Download VLC player from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ and queue up the .bin file(s) in the playlist and you are good to go. Thanks VLC and I hope this was some help, because I spent ages looking for this answer and a ginger person told it me, SHAMED...

Dominic Guest | New to this Torrent World and want to continue to provide completed files as a Seeder but didn’t realize this until after I had deleted the file folder from uTorrent Application. It’s still on my computer and I’d like to add it again to become a Seed source for others when I’m connected with the uTorrent App. How do I put it back in there??

dagone Guest | there’s this cool software called AviCodec.. once installed you simply right click on any video file, and select AviCodec: detailed information. this will give you full codec details about the file, i.e. which video codec and sound codec. Saves u from trial and error codec installs.. hehe.. you can get it at http://avicodec.duby.info/
btw its freeware.. if you’ve got a video file but no subtitles, download the subtitle file from someplace like www.subtitles.to and use a player like BSPlayer.. you can load your own subtitle file and it works like a charm...
good luck you guys, i know this codec stuff and file extensions can be annoying.. hehe been there done that..
ciao..

dagone Guest | ogm files can be manually opened in Windows Media Player, you can’t just drag and drop it. You may need the codec, which you can find using the software AviCodec, i’ve given the link in my previous post. It also gives u the location to download from.
Once you have the codec i think any burning software like nero will let you burn it.
Hope this helps.

dagone Guest | here’s the link for AviCodec again...
http://avicodec.duby.info/
the information it shows is basically which codecs are needed to stream the video and audio. The red stop sign you see shows that the required codec for that file is not on your computer.
normally the button next to it, “web” gives you a link to download the specified codec. if not a google search should be sufficient to find it.
hope that helps.. ciao

Hi —
I recently downloaded a dvd movie from a torrent site and the format of the files that it came in is unfamiliar to me. I got 93 rar files with the extensions .r00 - .r93. The first 30 of them have enormous 4+ gig .img files in them. how do i get these files to produce a burnable file?

lev Guest | when winrar tries to extract the files of type .rar, .r01 etc from a torrent download it says that these files are too large (4gb being the limit) and that only ntsf file systems can do it.
Any help and advice please, cheers L
