cant play dvd.rip files

I am totally new to this and know absolutly nothing about this and I just downloaded a file with a title dvdrip. Should this be dvd.rip. When I try to play it all I get is the audio but no video. Is there something I should be doing or a specific file I need to look for when I download movies? Any advice or shared knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

What do i do to play these files? its my first time with these and i dont know if there is a media player or something i need to dounload. When i play the video the move goes on like normal, but the audio os all off.

on other dls i just dont know how to play them.

i downloaded a movie via utorrent, and i unxipped all the .rxx’s i also have sfv files and subs.. but i have no idea how i can burn the movie with the subtitles onto a vcd.

can anyone help me out?

I recently downloaded a torrent file movie and waited ages for it to download. But when it finished, it finished with 10-20 bunch of files and i cant play the damn movie. The only piece of the movie i have is the sample.

Why doesnt the downloaded torrent just simply come together to make that one movie file? Torrent is so difficult compared to Limewire.

hi , it took 3 days to download this film now i have 30 odd files in win archive, 62 odd in r30 to r92 and one in sfv . i havent a clue what to do could some one spell it out for me like you would to a child. cheers

ok so ive been torrenting a few movies and here’s my delima.
i get sound just fine, no problem. the problem is i have no picture whatsoever.
i have 30 winrar files with an .avi in them. the problem is i extract them and each of them is nothing but sound.
also .r30-r47 files. i extracted the r30 with winrar and got, yet again, sound....
theres an sfv file but i dont really want a dvd i just want to watch the friggen movie...
any suggestions?

Hi there,
i have just downloaded a software and it came in the format of:
replicate-x86dvd.r01
replicate-x86dvd.r02
replicate-x86dvd.r03
replicate-x86dvd.r04
replicate-x86dvd.r05

It started from .r01 and ended at .r50. There is also one file format named .sfv

I have tried using WinZip to combine the files but an error message comes on and says 'The achieve file is either unknown or damaged'.

do you have any ideas...

When i download torrent some come in the format of .RAR and .VOB and there are tones of them. Can someone please tell me what to do from this point. How do I get this movie now onto a dvd.
I am asking how to extract,play and burn .rar and which one do I use there are to many to choose from files after download also the same with these .VOB downloads.

PLEASE HELP!
