convert MP43 to mpg1,2

I’m havin a problem converting MP43 to mpg1. my program says the file type is unsupported. Does anyone know of a program that will convert MP43?

Would you mind sharing it? I have a downloaded cd movie of spiderman2 from a friend and he showed me that it worked before I left but when I got home it wouldn’t play in my dvd player so I tried it in my laptop windows media player. it comes up as mpeg2 and then AVSEQ01. Got any ideas?

your problem is not the same as mine. mpeg2 is normally a format used in SVCD’s. some dvd players do not play mpeg2. check your dvd player users guide to find out. AVSEQ01 is the mpeg file a vcd(mpeg1) or svcd uses to play on your computer or dvd player. your computer should play the AVSEQ01 file. if not try downloading “the playa” for the divix codex. the codex will automatically attach to media player. if you have a title option on your dvd remote press it while the movie is in and see if it works.

ya i seem to have problems too, im using intervideo windvd to burn dvds and it wont let me use mp34’s for some reason can anyone help me out in what program i should use to convert it

No1. To burn avseq01 files use DVDSANTA Its a very user friendly program.
No2. To watch avseq01 files on your computer
use windows media player
A.open avseq01 file
B.right mouse click
C.go to open with windows media player

Try vlc Media player it’s open sorce and playes almost anything as for the mpeg2 to mpeg1 conversion look on google just try typing “mpeg2 to mpeg1” and you will find something
