zarr Guest | Ive read a whole lot of BULL so i believe
I m really realy sceptic about all the shit people write in this forum...SO WHY???
dont believe ANY !!! THING !! about the way people tell us to solve the .img problem
People should be more carefull believing all things others say to solve the issue
after reading on the net for a couple of hours
i realized that: there a good reason to believe
That the solutions discribed may be ways to open your CPU for some people who really believe they re CLEVER
I could be wrong ....maybe? Moderated 02 Jul 2006 05:24 pm by Bjarne

Fathom Guest | to change img files so that they work just change your extention from .img to .iso .
and if you find that you cannot because there is no extention. go to tools and folder options and under view just unclick the box for hide extentions for known file types. then the extentions should show and just change it.

I tried mounting it with daemon tools and alcohol 120% it gives me a message that it cannot read the iso or that is an unsuported format. im confused can someone help me?

Suspeerke Guest | Just download magiciso at www.magiciso.com
You can open a .img file and it will automatically be transformed to iso files.
These can be extracted and/or burned on a DVD so you can watch your movie on a regular DVD player or your PC.

Oscar111 Guest | It’s really easy, just install DVD Decryptor it lets you Open the IMG file or even burn it.
I will send Alcohol an email to let them know that there are more Imagefiles then ISO.
More that ones i stumbled over a IMG file, and it would be nice if it’s posibble to mount in on a virtual drive like Alcohol

yikes Guest | I just copied the .img file for my game (it’s 2 disks), then took the copied and pasted .img files and changed the name to .ISO, then I used dvd decrypter. It says it doesn’t support the format, but click burn anyways and a thing pops up and converts it. Worked for me perfectly.

Bil Guest | I have a bit of a different problem concerning .img files... I used a data recovery program to 'rescue' data from a 120gb hard drive and it saved the result as one HUGE .img file! This file is over 114gb in size! Took from 6pm one day unrtil noon the next to get that file. Now it seems NOTHING will open or extract it!
HELP!
These are not movie files... some mp3, some jpg, some doc, some txt, etc. files. JUst all kinds of files from 4 years of data collecting. I really need to get at them. Was it a waste of time to get that 'image' file? Pleasae, if you can help, I would appreciate it.
