divx 5.11 problem

Hi, I have a problem with a video playback. I have a sound, but no video, only splanted lines of green colour. I am using 5.1.1 Codec. I opened the file in GSpot, it says that all the necessary codecs are present and I can open the file and see a picture in Windows Media PLayer only, other players dont work.
Could anyone help me please?

Got exactly the same situation, works only in Win Media Player.

i am playing a movie but the sound is like a 39 seconds behind the movie is that fixable or do i just have to watch the movie and listen to the sounds when they come?

i used to have the slanted lines too. here’s something you can try:
go to your start menu and look for the divx decoder configuration utility. under quality settings check yuv extended mode and uncheck smooth playback.
then try playing your file. if it doesn’t work keep toggling with the settings on that page. some combination is bound to work.
