Bigcountry67 Guest | I need to know how to convert video files to MPEG so I can make VCD discs. Also Which Programs for creating VCD discs with my movie files and video files. I’ve tried Windows movie maker 2 and it sucks. Probably because I don’t know how to convert file types from one to another. Please help me with any info. Thank You | |

vier Guest | I use “WinMPG Video Convert” to convert avi to mpeg, it works good!
It supports convert AVI to Mpeg1, AVI to Mpeg2, AVI to DVD, AVI toVCD, AVI to SVCD, all media file to DivX, and all to AVI.

general369 Guest | yes the film you want to convert goes in the input and the output is whatever file you would like to send it to.
example, i created a file and called it converted videos.

Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 31 Dec 2004 Posts: 3 OFFLINE | There’s also a program called WinAVI Video Converter. It has the ability to convert:
wmv, vob & mpeg to AVI
wmv, vob & mpeg to RM
AVI to DVD, vcd or mpeg
avi, vob & mpeg to WMV..
but you have to buy the product for around 30US to get the nag off the centre of the screen which says “license me for $30.."  up to you ofcourse!
