SUNPLAS SPCA546 PMP PLAYER

I purchased a PMP player while working in China the model is SPCA536. The player records video and plays back OK. The video format is ASF. I have tried using Sunplas transcoding software to covert my AVI video files so I can play them on the player. When I load the converted files they will not play at all.

I downloaded a upgrade for the software someone suggested but this does not work either.
Can someone suggest software that will convert video files that will play on the Sunplas?
