I wanted to know if anyone can guide me or direct me to instructions on how to encode a movie with a good codec like xvid or divx511 without compromise on quality and maintaining a good resolutions. i mean how to create a 9-10 MB per second movie. i’ve been trying for ages all kind of utils and none of what i tred did the work...
please help me

anonymous Guest | Use virtualdub to compress the movies. Click video and choose compression. Pick one of the compression formats, and at the bottom right click on configure. There’s so many settings I won’t even get into it, but you should find what floats your boat in the mix. Trial and error and divx and xvid forums are here to help. You might need bitrate calculators too, since you seem interested in a target bitrate.
